Indiana-Kentucky Synod Leadership Training School
Vision Statement The fundamental, underlying vision of Leadership Training School is that youth are not the church of tomorrow, but an integral part of the church today and that God has endowed them with gifts of leadership.
Mission
Statement Leadership Training School is an experience which challenges and encourages youth to grow in their understanding of God, themselves, and others. The mission of Leadership Training School is to serve the Indiana-Kentucky Synod and its congregations through the training, encouraging, and equipping of our young people for servant leadership and ministry within their own life, the church and the world. Leadership Training School is designed to provide senior high youth with an introduction to and an opportunity to explore basic leadership skills. This takes place in an environment for personal growth as youth learn communication skills, experience trust building, and develop confidence for serving as leaders. All
this occurs within a worshipping community of faith and in which youth
can grow spiritually and realize their full potential as children of God who are
gifted with talents and blessings.
