Youth Mission Trip

Sunday, June 21 – Saturday, June 27, 2020

Louisville, Kentucky

Join us for a week of meaningful community service alongside strong local ministries and non-profit organizations in the Louisville-area.  Our time will be packed with practical acts of love and service as we engage people with Christ-like empathy and compassion.  Evening activities will give us the opportunity to sample the culture and diversity of Kentucky’s largest city.

8th through 12th grade students and adult leaders are invited to be a part of this amazing experience.  Christ Lutheran Church in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, will be our home base for the week.  We will spend Friday, June 26, at Kentucky Kingdom Amusement Park and Hurricane Bay Water Park.

The cost is $175 per person and is all inclusive (other than transportation to and from Louisville).  To register, contact Pastor Dan Fugate, Assistant to the Bishop for Discipleship, at or 317.253.3522.  A deposit of $50 per person is needed to hold spots.  Registration ends June 1, 2020, or when the trip reaches capacity.

Service sites will include Franciscan Kitchen, The Lord’s Kitchen, Grace and Glory Lutheran Church, and others.  Evening activities will include fun exploration of the Commonwealth’s largest city.
