Transformational Leadership Academy of the Indiana-Kentucky Synod

The foremost goal of the Transformational Leadership Academy (TLA) is partnering with lay and rostered leaders to provide the training and skills they need to provide effective leadership in their congregations, particularly for congregations that do not have called pastors.

The TLA leads the training and formation of Lay Worship Leaders through our 1-year training initiative that will relaunch (version 3.0) in the Fall of 2024.  As we are building this program, please stay tuned for further updates. For more information, please e-mail Pastor Dan Forehand

The TLA also assists in the formation of TEEM (Theological Education for Emerging Ministries) candidates as well as provides continuing education opportunities to rostered ministers.

The training will be theological, Biblical, practical, and missional.

The TLA will use a combination of learning modalities; including traditional in-person education, teleconferencing, and recorded instruction to serve people where they are.

The director will meet with stakeholders to identify what educational needs exist in the synod, and how we can use the abundant educational resources of the Indiana-Kentucky Synod, including the many teaching theologians in the synod, to meet those needs.
