SAM and Preaching Retreat
Join us for our SAM and Preaching Retreat hosted by the Transformational Leadership Academy. Pastor Cogan Blackmon from Cross of Grace Lutheran Church in New Palestine, Indiana, will lead an interactive workshop on Saturday that will help you to develop your gifts of storytelling as a part of the art of proclamation of the gospel. On Friday evening, Pastor Dan Forehand will lead us through a discussion on baptismal ecclesiology and how as SAMs we are called to help all of the people in our communities to discover and live into their calling as children of God.
Programming starts at 7pm on Friday evening and will end at 5pm on Saturday afternoon. Thanks to the generosity of the CaSTLE Project, the cost of the event for SAMs and their mentors is free! Hotel rooms, food, and programming will all be provided! More information will be shared soon for those who register.
