Advocacy and Justice

The Indiana-Kentucky Synod is deeply committed to engaging the pressing social issues that impact our neighbors and communities. Through dedicated task forces, we intentionally focus on areas such as racial justice, hunger, accessibility, immigration, and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. These groups prayerfully study the realities facing those most affected, listen to lived experiences, and examine the ways our faith calls us to respond.

Our task forces serve as spaces for learning, dialogue, and discernment. They equip our congregations with resources, guidance, and faithful perspectives so that we may speak thoughtfully and act compassionately. By grounding our work in the Gospel and in a commitment to justice, we seek not only to understand these complex issues, but also to advocate for dignity, equity, and belonging for all God’s people.

Through ongoing education, collaboration, and action, the Indiana-Kentucky Synod strives to be a voice of hope and a partner in building communities where everyone can thrive.
