Funding Forward: A Pathway to More Sustainable Models for Ministry Online Book Study | January–February 2027
Join DEM Missy Schroeder for a four-session Zoom book study of Grace Duddy Pomroy’s Funding Forward: A Pathway to More Sustainable Models for Ministry.
Together, we’ll explore how congregations can connect God’s mission, their communities, and the resources entrusted to them while imagining sustainable models for ministry.
Each one-hour gathering will include conversation, reflection, and opportunities to consider what the ideas in the book might mean in your own ministry context. You don’t need to have all the answers—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to imagine new possibilities.
Mondays | 6:30–7:30 p.m. ET | Zoom
January 12 — Chapters 1–3
January 26 — Chapters 4–5
February 9 — Chapters 6–8
February 23 — Chapters 9–10
Pastors, deacons, and lay leaders are welcome, and congregations are encouraged to participate as a team.
Please register by January 6, 2027. The Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants on January 11.
