Theodore “Ted” Ludwig
September 28, 1936 – August 12, 2020
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. — Romans 8:38-39
We offer our Christian sympathy and the promise of the resurrection to the family of Ted Ludwig who joined the Church Triumphant on August 11, 2020.
Ted and his late wife, Kathy, helped found the Valparaiso Builders Association (VBA) in support of affordable housing and related services for all those in need in 1968, and continued to be involved with that organization for the rest of their lives. Ted was a professor of Theology at Valparaiso University from 1968 until his retirement in 2003. An obituary may be found here.
Private family services will be held with a livestream of the service available at 9 am on Sunday, August 16 https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/89709214
We give thanks for Ted’s life, and pray God’s blessings for comfort and peace for his four sons Kevin, James (Laurie), Gregory, and Keith, and the rest of Ted’s family and friends.
Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord;
And let light perpetual shine upon him.
